Kumiko Tanaka, MD

Dr. Tanaka joined About Women by Women in 2024 and is thrilled to return to the area where she grew up. She graduated from the University of Rochester and earned her medical degree at the University of Southern California. She then completed her residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in NH, graduating in 2018. She enjoys caring for women of all ages and has special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including robotics.
Dr. Tanaka is also fluent in Japanese. Outside of work she loves to garden and spend time with her husband and children.
