Dr. Valencia Miller is a graduate of Howard University in Washington DC. She then went on to earn a Masters in Nutrition from the University of Maryland, College Park, where her thesis focused on the barriers and facilitators of breastfeeding during the first few months post-partum. After a brief stint as a pharmaceutical representative, she went on to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her training in general OB/GYN at Morehouse School of Medicine at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. She then returned to the Boston area to complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery at Newton Wellesley Hospital with a focus on laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Valencia joined About Women by Women in 2019. Her practice encompasses the full breadth of obstetrics and gynecology with a focus on abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and adenomyosis.
When not working Valencia is an avid reader who enjoys art and crafts. She also is the mother of a delightful one year old who fills her days and nights with light and love.
